Remember that cutie little AirBNB I helped with a couple years ago in the Garden District, House on Hill? Well my sweet friends/cousins/brokers decided to do another Air BNB and I couldn't be more excited for them! I got to help with this one too. Despite this home lacking the character that Hill has, I was happy to see its investors injected character where they could, starting with beautiful shiplap walls throughout. They give the home a coastal feel that pairs well with the bird art they wanted to place throughout and the blue and cream color scheme we decided on for the home.
In the living room, we paired a comfy blue couch with classic ivory chairs and a great rug and poufs for added softness. The double console situation below the TV is the perfect height and the wood gives some contrast to the otherwise light and bright room. A couple wall shelves and accessories and the room is ready for guests to relax and unwind:
The dining room is much like Hill's, simple and sweet, with an antique table juxtaposed by modern black chairs and light fixture and all the natural light you could ever dream of.
I love the dark cabinets in the kitchen in this one! They warm up all the white and have ample space for storage and cooking. We snuck in a sweet shelf for a little decor and I love how hard this space works while still being a looker.
The two bathrooms in this house are my favorite color scheme: black, white, and wood. Sweet art pieces and pretty shower curtains are the cherries on top in these beautiful spaces.
The three bedrooms in the home are simple and sweet with bedding and accessories from Walmart and Target and antique pieces from all over Cenla. They provide a comfortable and pretty place to rest.
That's a wrap except to show you how adorable she is outside! If you'd like to book, here's the link! airbnb.com/h/cottagebycabrini You won't be disappointed! The location is perfect, just minutes from Cabrini Hospital, shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. Whether for a staycation or a vacation, you can't go wrong with this cutie.
